Hilton Introduces New Tech Enhancements

Hilton is a hotel brand with a focus on world travel, and they’re always looking for new ways to make their guests stay more comfortable. As part of an ongoing effort to offer cutting-edge amenities at every Hilton property, the company has introduced technology upgrades that will improve guest service in several key areas. With this enhancement, customers can now enjoy superior experiences from booking all the way through check-out

The “hilton hotels & resorts” is a hotel chain that has introduced new tech enhancements. Hilton has released new features such as the “Hilton HHonors app”, “Hilton’s smartphone check-in”, and the “Hilton Honors App”.

Hilton has unveiled a number of technological advancements that will improve the visitor experience across all of its 18 brands.

The Digital Key Share feature allows several guests to use their room’s Digital Key. For access to guest rooms, utilize the Hilton Honors app on your smartphone.

Hilton Honors members now have access to a new benefit: early confirmation of hotel upgrades. Eligible Gold and Diamond Hilton Honors members will be informed 72 hours before their arrival of their space-available upgrade. This also means they’ll be able to choose their upgraded accommodation upon check-in on the app.

Following the recent introduction of Confirmed Connecting Rooms, these two additional technical improvements have been included.

“We’ve always put our guests first, and we’ll keep listening, evolving, and innovating to offer them more choice and control over their hotel stay,” said Hilton executive vice president and chief commercial officer Chris Silcock. “As travel resumes, we are delighted to offer Hilton guests with improvements to their stay that are smooth, adaptable, and enable them to concentrate on what matters most–making new memories.”

Through the Hilton Honors app, guests may now share their Digital Key with up to four other persons or devices. Both visitors must have the app to share the key, and the secondary key holder must be invited by the main guest, pass a security check, and then be granted entry to the room.

Eligible visitors will get room upgrades through email or push notification. Guests may select their accommodation up to 36 hours in advance if a hotel provides digital check-in. This early confirmation is available for stays of less than seven nights and will be available in the coming months at all Hilton brands around the world that offer space-available upgrades, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, Signia by Hilton, and Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Guests must first choose the number of rooms they want to rent, then tick the option for connected rooms. After that, the visitor chooses their accommodations and gets immediate confirmation.
