Disney Cruise Line has unveiled a new interactive experience for Disney Wish, providing guests with an opportunity to explore the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Maiden Voyage of Disney Wish is a new interactive experience for Disney Cruise Line. It features the maiden voyage from Miami to Nassau, along with a stop in Freeport, Bahamas.
Disney Cruise Line is bringing its new Disney Wish cruise ship to new heights with the launch of Disney Uncharted Adventure, a new interactive experience. This will be a one-of-a-kind unique feature that will whisk visitors away on a wonderful adventure.
Disney Dreams of a First-of-Its-Kind Interactive Experience
Disney Wish will include a first-of-its-kind interactive experience, Disney Uncharted Adventure, when she arrives in 2022. This will take visitors on an experience that starts even before they board utilizing the Play Disney Parks app.
Captain Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse will assist visitors in navigating the magical spyglass and transforming mobile devices into it. Unlocking various adventures, overcoming riddles, and completing missions are just some of the activities available in the Disney Uncharted Adventure.
Davey Feder, software product manager at Walt Disney Imagineering, stated, “With the Disney Wish, we have a tremendous potential to immerse our visitors in the worlds of their favorite tales in unexpected, engaging, and totally distinct new ways.” “With Disney Uncharted Adventure, we’re giving our guests the ability to become the protagonists of a great adventure that can only be experienced on a Disney cruise.”
Disney Cruise Line Announces ‘Avengers: Quantum Encounter’ for Disney Wish
Before the visitors even take sail, the experience will begin. The app will reveal a special greeting from Captain Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse in the days leading up to a cruise on the Disney Wish, who will help guests prepare for the journey ahead by highlighting the importance of the night sky in seafaring — particularly the ever-shining wishing star that lights the way.

Guests will utilize their spyglasses once aboard to see never-before-seen vistas of the sky above, where enchanted constellations assume the form of familiar symbols from Disney and Pixar tales.
As visitors are taken on a tour of the Disney Wish cruise ship, Captain Minni will be on hand to assist them. The journey will come to a close at one of the entertainment venues, with the unveiling of the story’s villain.
“We’re combining new technologies, such as augmented reality and physical effects, with the Disney Wish to create a secret layer of enchantment that can only be discovered with Disney Uncharted Adventure,” Feder added. “Today, guests may be admiring a lovely artwork without understanding that underneath the surface, a horde of mischievous Kakamora from the land of Moana is ready to emerge and wreck havoc on the ship. In the afternoon, a digital menu board may indicate what’s for lunch, but it’ll later hold a cooking class in Tiana’s own kitchen.”

The Disney Wish will have her first voyage on June 9, 2022, followed by a season of three- and four-night cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s own island, Castaway Cay.
