On Monday, Princess Cruises announced it would be delaying the restart of two ships due to safety concerns. The company has so far not offered any information about how long the delay will last or provide updates on future sailings.
The “princess cruises breaking news” is that the company has delayed the restart of two ships in the U.S.
Princess Cruises has notified customers and booking brokers that two of its ships would not be returning to operation as planned. Crown Princess and Island Princess will be delayed in resuming service in the United States, with a total of 19 sailings canceled.
Two Princess Cruise Ships Have Been Postponed
With many ships already back in operation, the Carnival-owned cruise line’s return to service has been progressing well. However, the much-anticipated resumption of Island Princess and Crown Princess from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, have been postponed.
Princess Cruises provided this image.
Princess Cruises did not elaborate on the cause for the two ships’ delayed commencement. The sole purpose was to allow for a more gradual return to duty. This might be due to a lack of vaccinated staff on board and a lack of time to prepare.
“After careful analysis, we have determined it essential to postpone the relaunch of Island Princess and Crown Princess until Spring 2022 in order to further stagger our larger return to service plans,” Princess Cruises wrote in the statement. Island Princess will resume service on April 27 with a 14-day Panama Canal voyage, while Crown Princess will resume service on May 7 with a seven-day Alaska cruise. The following cruises have been canceled as a consequence of these modifications.”
Replacement Voyages for the Island Princess
Cruises on the Island Princess have been canceled until April 17, 2021. On April 27, 2022, the ship will resume service from Fort Lauderdale on a 14-day Panama Canal cruise. Crown Princess cruises have been postponed until April 29, 2022. On May 7, 2022, the ship will return after a seven-day cruise to Alaska, departing from Los Angeles.

Princess Cruises Announces Cruise Cancellations in Australia Until Spring 2022
The 2,200-passenger Island Princess was supposed to resume service on March 6th. The Crown Princess, with a capacity of 3,080 passengers, was set to start voyages on February 13th.

Guests that have been impacted by the Princess
Princess Cruises is providing three choices to passengers who have booked on the disrupted sailings. The first option enables passengers to switch to an identical voyage with the extra advantage of a guaranteed cruise rate and benefits from the original booking.
The second choice is to get a 100 percent future cruise credit, which may be utilized on a future trip. By December 31, 2022, the credit must be used on a nad sailing journey. The fourth option is to obtain a complete refund by December 31, 2021, using an online form.

Return to Service for Princess Cruises in the United States
Princess Cruises, like other cruise companies in the United States, has already reopened with numerous ships. There are now seven princess cruise ships cruising, with the new Enchanted Princess set to depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 10, 2021.
The Majestic Princess and Emerald Princess from the Port of Los Angeles, as well as the Ruby Princess from San Francisco, operate on the West Coast.
Google’s John Mueller asked if restarting material on a parked site would have any ranking benefit in a Google Office-hours chat. John Mueller, a Google engineer, demonstrated how the company manages expired names.
Domains That Have Been Parked Or Expired
An expired domain is one that has already been registered but has been allowed to expire, allowing it to be re-registered by someone else.
A parked domain is one that has been registered but not utilized.
Many customers mistakenly believe they are purchasing an expired domain from a domain broker when they are really purchasing a parked name that was previously registered.
Do Expired Domains Have Authority?
The questioner wanted to know whether there was any “authority” left over from a parked name that would allow Google to crawl and rank the domain more quickly.
While Mueller did not address the question of website authority in his response, he has previously said categorically that Google does not utilize any form of authority measure.

This is the issue:
“I have a four-year-old domain that hasn’t been utilized.” In its niche, the blog I had was performing really well. However, since I did not want to sell it, I removed all of the material and parked the domain.
I’d want to restore the stuff on it, but I’d like to do so in a somewhat different way.
My question is, “Does Google need to learn about my blog again as if it were new, or does this old domain provide me a greater opportunity to become an authority in my area quicker than usual?”
John Mueller of Google Talks About Expired Domains
Expired Domains and Google
John Mueller affirms that there is no ranking benefit to utilizing an expired domain and outlines what the following steps are from an SEO standpoint.

Mueller:
“So, if the material has been missing for a couple of years, we’ll have to figure out what this site is and start from scratch.”
So, based on that, I wouldn’t anticipate much in the way of a bonus given you had stuff there before.
I’m guessing you’ll have to rebuild it from the ground up, just like any other website.
For example, if you operate a company and shut it for four years before reopening, it’s unlikely that clients would remember you and say, “Oh yes, I’ll go to this business.”
And it has an entirely different appearance. They provide a variety of services. It did, however, exist in the past.
In actual life, I believe such circumstance will be uncommon… if you’ll do the same.
As a result, I’m assuming you’re beginning from scratch.
This is also one of the reasons why it’s typically not a good idea to go out and acquire expired domains in the hopes of getting some type of benefit from utilizing them.”
There is no ranking bonus for expired domains.
Mueller’s argument that expired domains have no benefit does not surprise those of us with twenty years or more of SEO expertise.
We already knew this since our generation of SEOs pioneered the practice of purchasing expired domains and lived through the time when Google issued an algorithm change to address it.
We’ve seen firsthand how expired domains may help websites rank higher.
Not only were they important for ranking, but we could see how much PageRank they provided on Google’s toolbar.
Holdover PageRank was found on more than simply expired domains. A PageRank source might also be a link to a broken site.
A crawler was launched on a prominent website, and the outbound links that produced a 404 Page Not Found error message were reviewed.
Those 404s were links to non-existent pages and websites.

So SEOs bought such names, which were generally misspellings, and then redirected them to affiliate sites. The PageRank would start to flow in a couple of weeks, and the affiliate site would begin to rank higher.
Purchasing misspelled names with a lot of inbound links and buying expired domains were all part of a PageRank recycling scheme to help sites rank without having to develop connections.
They were shortcuts for creating links.
Expired domains are already handled by Google’s algorithm.
When Google discovered the technique, they updated their links-related algorithm to reset the PageRank of expired domains back in 2003.
Those who are new to SEO and have less than five years of expertise and believe in expired domains may be surprised by this.
However, since 2003, Google’s system has reset the PageRank and link effect of expired domains.
I was working in SEO at the time, and I saw the consequences of the move firsthand.

Google Expired Domains Update Announcement
A Google developer with the WebmasterWorld handle of GoogleGuy made the news regarding restoring PageRank for expired sites.
Matt Cutts was GoogleGuy the most of the time.
Other Google search engineers, on the other hand, utilized that identity to make announcements in the name of the company.
Google said the following in a WebmasterWorld article titled “Good News About Expired Domains”:
“Hey, the index is going to be released shortly, so I wanted to give folks an idea of what to anticipate from it.” Of course, it’s larger and better (yeah! ), but we’ve also focused more on algorithmic enhancements to combat spam.
One benefit of this index is improved handling of expired domains: when a domain expires, the authority for that name is reset, even if dangling links to the expired site remain on the web.
An expired domain might still rank, according to Google, but not because of any pre-existing links, which were no longer considered.

GoogleGuy said:
“…you’ll be able to get that domain into Google, but you won’t receive credit for any existing connections.”
GoogleGuy also pointed out that expired domains with current penalties will continue to be penalized.
GoogleGuy recommended:
“At the moment, fines may stay on a domain.” As a result, you’ll want to conduct your homework before purchasing a domain.”
The resetting of PageRank was not confined to expired domains. Misspelled domains had their PageRank reset as well.
Soon after, the market for expiring domains crashed, and people stopped purchasing them.
Buying Expired Domains Is Making A Comeback
Then, ten years later, a new generation of SEOs came along and uncovered expired domains, unaware that they were no longer active, and the entire expired domain issue began all over again, fueled by faulty anecdotal evidence.
It’s easy to find anecdotal evidence to back up almost any SEO strategy. Anecdotal evidence may even be found for something as ineffectual as comment spam, demonstrating the unreliability of anecdotal evidence.

Expired domains don’t come with any bonuses or shortcuts.
Google has dealt with SEO shortcuts for over 20 years, including expired domains.
The notion that anybody may acquire an expired name to gain an advantage and that Google is unable to stop it is just wishful thinking.
In truth, the SEO boost for expired names ceased to exist in 2003.

For expired domains, there is no SEO bonus.

HEY.
Let me take a minute to introduce myself since I’m new around here. Hello, my name is Sofi, and I’m Tilly’s new buddy and Sarah’s new helper.
Most days, you may find me in the kitchen trying out new dishes or chasing Tilly around the flat. In most cases, both.
I PROMISE we’ll get to know each other very quickly, but first, let’s chat about these vegan chili cheese dogs.
I’ll start with a confession: I’m not a big football fan. I’ll gladly participate in a basketball, soccer, or hockey game. Football, on the other hand, is not my thing.
However, no one said you had to be a football fan to have a fun Super Bowl party.
Every year during the Super Bowl, I go all out in the name of fried chicken, nachos, and football-shaped rice krispie treats, becoming the largest bandwagon fan. It’s not about the touchdowns to me–all it’s about the SNACKS.
This year, I’m going to concentrate on these VEGAN hot dogs.
So, how do you create a vegan chili cheese dog (read: one with meat and cheese)?
It’s that simple.
This plant-based hot dog is created with a gently toasted pretzel bun, vegetable-loaded chili, soy-based hot dog, and homemade cashew queso. And let me just clarify that Sarah and I are both huge meat eaters. We were also big fans.
The unbelievably creamy cashew queso is the true star here. Consider queso, but…dare I say…better! This is OUTRAGEOUS. I’d put it on just about everything. It could be anything.
Without cheese, how do you create queso?
You can bet I’ve done my homework on this as a lactose intolerant gal who enjoys cheese.
The soaked cashews provide the creamy luscious texture, while nutritional yeast provides the cheesy taste. How can yeast be cheesy, I hear you say? It may seem strange, but Alex enjoyed it as well. Pizza is his favorite food.
Nutritional yeast is well-known for its distinct “cheesy” flavor, as well as the fact that it’s high in beneficial nutrients including B vitamins.
You’ve got yourself a helluva fantastic queso when you combine it with the proper amount of smokey spice.
This Super Bowl season, vegans and meat eaters, die-hard and casual fans alike will find something to enjoy. Serve them with a cool drink and french fries this weekend or save them for the Super Bowl.
We’ll talk shortly.

If you start a company with the expectation of making a lot of money, you’re probably not going to be successful, since that’s the incorrect motive to do so. You must really believe in what you’re doing, be enthusiastic enough about it to put in the hours and hard effort necessary to achieve there, and only then will you be successful.”

I was brought up with the belief that you can accomplish almost whatever you desire. You’re capable of doing everything you put your mind to. I was given a feeling of self-assurance, and I never had the need to – or, more accurately, I’ve never had the advantage of being inspired by outside heroes.”

Greetings, and welcome to Cheeseboard 101! I’m not trying to brag, but I consider myself a bit of a cheese board expert. I’ve spent years refining the science of making the ideal cheeseboard, and now is the moment for cheese to shine!
ALDI is the sponsor of this content. All of my views, as usual, are my own. Thank you for your continued support of the brands that enable Broma to exist!
How to assemble the ideal cheeseboard
Few things are better than a cheeseboard, I believe we can all agree. The taste and texture combo… Cheese boards are, after all, one of my favorite meal categories. They’re adaptable, great for a crowd, and just tasty. However, I understand that putting together a cheese board might be intimidating. How many cheeses are you going to need? Meats? What kind of crackers are these? Eeek!
Fortunately, I’ve spent years perfecting the art of cheese board-making and have it down to a science. Allow me to present the 3, 3, 3, 3 rule for cheese board construction. Simply choose three meats, three cheeses, three starches, and three accompaniments to create the ideal board every time.
What are the ingredients for the most beautiful cheese board?
It may be STRESSFUL to entertain, particularly around the holidays. After racing about collecting presents, preparing the home, and cooking, the last thing I want to do is add to my stress by going to many shops. Which is why I like ALDI and am ecstatic to be a member of their Charcuterie Board of Directors, otherwise known as my favorite bunch of cheeseboard experts. I’m here to offer you allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Everything you’ll need for this stunning cheese board, as well as all other entertaining requirements, can be found under one roof at great pricing. There’s no need to travel to a specialist supermarket for high-quality cheeses, meats, and accessories when ALDI offers an AMAZING (and reasonably priced) selection of charcuterie goods that are *chef’s kiss.* Plus, they offer some really incredible hidden jewels for your house, like the magnificent Crofton Marble Cheeseboard we used to shoot this. Keep an eye out for all of ALDI’s amazing charcuterie items and ALDI Finds the next time you’re there!
You may use any meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and other ingredients you choose, but I’ve included some suggestions to get you started. Here’s a shopping list you may want to consider!
- 3 Meats: I prefer to use a variety of meats so that everyone may enjoy something. Prosciutto di Priano, Simms Hard Salami, Sliced, and Appleton Farms Sliced Italian Dry Salami are among my favorites.
- 3 types of cheese: It goes without saying that you’ll need some spectacular cheeses. White Cheddar, Emporium Selection Aged Reserve, Brie Cheese Round, Emporium Selection, and Stilton, Emporium Selection were my choices for this board. The cheddar is buttery and crisp, the brie is creamy and rich, and the stilton is salty and nutty. The mix of these three is ideal–and ALDI’s pricing are unbeatable.
- 3 Starches: For the most diversity, I like to use a variety of crackers and breads. I enjoy Savoritz crackers because they’re crispy, salty, and available in a variety of flavors.
- 3 Accompaniments: To give the board variety, I prefer to utilize a mix of tastes. You may use anything you like, but one fruit, one nut, and one sweet treat are my favorites. This assures that everyone will find something they like!
- Fruit: Apples, pears, grapes…basically any fruit that is in season will suffice. We decided on a pear to complement the strong cheddar and buttery crackers.
- Nuts: I usually add a nut since they’re simple to nibble on and can also be used to cover any little or oddly shaped gaps on your cheese board.
- Something Sweet: I like to serve my cheese boards with a little something sweet. It’s a good change of pace from all the salty savory aromas. Moser Roth Fine Dark Collection 70 percent Cocoa was used in this recipe, however chocolate wrapped almonds, dried apricots, or dates would also be great.
A cheese platter that’s both delicious and beautiful? Yes, please! Purchase a board that can do both functions. I’ll break it down step by step later, but these are the tips and methods that I swear by. Here are the guidelines for your cheese board:
- Stick to the 3,3,3,3 rule: Variety is key when it comes to assembling a cheeseboard. To get the greatest results, choose three cheeses, three meats, three starches, and three embellishments.
- Lean into repetition: Having items appear more than once is one of the secrets to making an attractive and Instagram-worthy cheeseboard. Make many stacks of the same cracker. However, if an object appears several times, be sure to place it in the same manner each time to increase repetition and build cohesiveness in your board! If the cheddar cheese is cut into triangles on one section of the board, it should be sliced into triangles on the rest of the board as well.
- Do not allow the same items to come into contact with each other. Now that you’ve added a lot of various elements to your board and it’s beginning to fill up, remember that you never want the same objects touching. Make sure you divide apart products of the same color and tone, especially when it comes to meats that might have similar colours.
- Maintain a consistent color scheme. I like to use a seasonal color palette, especially for holiday boards. This will help connect the board together and make everything appear more unified.
How to build the best cheese board ever
Although it may seem self-evident, I feel that assembling an aesthetically gorgeous and delectable cheese board is a *art.* The sequence in which you arrange your elements on the board will result in a balanced, bountiful, and welcoming presentation. I’ve described everything for you here!
- Arrange your cheeses on a cutting board. Choose from a variety of hard and soft cheeses, then cut them into various shapes. You may leave some of them whole, crumble them, cut them into triangles, toss them in a dish with a soft cheese (we like ricotta) and drizzle them with olive oil…the choices are unlimited. Mix things up and be creative!
- Arrange the crackers around the cheese. Crackers are served after the cheese. To add diversity, pick crackers in a range of shapes, sizes, and colors, much like your cheeses. A seedy cracker, a longer, flatter cracker, and something square are all favorites. Have fun arranging the crackers on your board: make a fan, arrange them completely straight and stacked, dump them in a pile… Have a good time!
- Place your meats in the appropriate spots. Make your meats appear on the board more than once. We like to build prosciutto flowers and salami fans to provide a fun form with dimension.
- Fill in all of the holes with your accoutrements. Now it’s time to get out the pears, dried apricots, olives, chocolate, and other goodies. Go all out with the fun, gourmet foods like grapes, salted almonds, and delicious Italian olives. To make it aesthetically intriguing and dynamic, use a range of colors, shapes, and sizes. Some of your accessories should be cut up, while others should be left intact. We like to finely slice apples, cut apart grape bunches, and leave entire olives and pickles.
- Enjoy your cheeseboard…and take a few pictures of it before you eat it. Bbs, the camera eats first.
Friends, have a great time cheese boarding!

Brian Acton quotes: the finest sayings of the WhatsApp co-founder.
“I was 38 years old when I first joined WhatsApp. We have opportunities in all areas of life and at all ages.”
“You never know what’s going to happen next in your life.” Just remember to strive harder the following day, since one rejection may propel you to the next level – acceptance – which is much more precious in every aspect.”
“A single interview is insufficient to determine your future. If you are rejected once, it does not imply that you are a failure. Put up the effort for a more empowered future.”
“Never surrender. Strive for a brighter future.”
“Take your time and do it correctly.”
“Working with advertisements is disheartening. Making ads function better does not improve anyone’s life.”
“We don’t want to make a hookup app where you can meet crazy people to chat to. This isn’t what we’re all about. We’re talking about your personal connections.”
“A single communication is equivalent to the birth of a child.” We’re never going to miss a message.”
“People are interested in conversation logs. They’re a lasting record of a connection.”
“It’s been a hundred and ten years since the phone was made.” There was a time in the middle when the government had vast surveillance powers, but if you look at human history as a whole, individuals and civilizations progressed via private discussions and private speech.”
“Facebook declined my application. It was a tremendous chance to meet some amazing folks. I’m looking forward to the next experience in life. [Five years before Facebook acquired WhatsApp, Acton sought for a position at the company and was turned down.] ”
“I witnessed a lot of acquisitions while I worked at Yahoo.” Some were successful, while others were not. That, I believe, has taught me something.”
“I believe that each purchase is distinctive and distinct. Listening to the founders and following their direction is the greatest method.”
“Valuations are subject to a certain amount of conjecture. Everyone who obtains a wonderful value deserves it inasmuch as the market supports it, but they should also be careful since the speculation is only transitory.”
“I personally seen Yahoo go from a $100 billion business to a $10 billion company, so take valuations with a grain of salt and keep in mind that they are a snapshot in time.”
“WhatsApp will add another billion users to Facebook.” We will have a billion users. There is value, whether it is a direct or indirect valuation, and Facebook is fully aware of this.”
“The cross-fertilization of ideas, people, and technology has been the finest aspect of working with Facebook.”
“We’re the most out-of-the-box Silicon Valley firm you’ll ever meet.” We were created by thirty-somethings who prioritized long-term company viability and income above quick growth; we’ve operated nearly entirely in the shadows; we’re mobile first; and we’re global first.”
“[On Snapchat, a rival to WhatsApp that turned down a $3 billion deal from Facebook] It’s fantastic; adolescents can use it all day to get laid. It makes no difference to me. I’m 42 years old, married with a child. I couldn’t care less about it. I’m not sending sexts to random people. I send text messages to say “I love you.” She’s been emailing me pictures of our child. This is a collection of recollections.”
“The most successful firms are those that have been developed and run for a long period.”
“A public offering takes 18 months, while an acquisition takes six months. Going public involves being subjected to a tenfold increase in inspection, governmental approval, and audits. It’s not in my DNA to have the guts to accomplish anything like that.”
“You never want to find yourself in a situation where you can’t pay your bills.”
“I’m creating a product and a service with my DNA.”
“Yes, I was a huge math and computer nerd when I was younger. The academic aspect of things was driving me. It was all about what I could do with math and technology for me.”
“My mother founded an air freight firm, and my grandma established a golf course.” My family background includes a fair amount of entrepreneurial risk-taking. Maybe a little of it rubbed off on me in the end.”
“It was critical for me to complete my education. I was one of the first graduates in my family. My mother lacked a college diploma. My father didn’t have a college diploma.”
“I’ve chosen to leave WhatsApp after eight years and begin a new chapter in my life.” I want to build a foundation that focuses on nonprofits, technology, and communications.”
“If you construct it once, it will operate in every nation.” A sophisticated sales team isn’t required. It’s a really straightforward business.”
“We think that by developing sustainable technology that respects users and does not depend on the commoditization of personal data, we can act in the public interest and make a significant contribution to society.”
“[In 2014, they sold WhatsApp to Facebook]” Simply said, Zuckerberg threw a lot of money at us. We couldn’t say no when he offered us an offer we couldn’t refuse. They’re entrepreneurs, and they’re excellent ones. They simply reflect a set of corporate practices, beliefs, ethics, and policies with which I disagree.”
“At the end of the day, I was able to sell my business.” I traded my consumers’ privacy for a bigger gain. I had to make a decision and a compromise. And I have to deal with it every day.”
“It seems that having a lot of money isn’t as freeing as you may think.”
“At my age, I’m incredibly lucky to be able to take new chances and concentrate on what I’m passionate about.”
