As Magic Kingdom and the rest of the Walt Disney World Resort prepare for the Fall holiday season, Main Street, U.S.A. is taking on a new appearance.
This yearly change occurs over the course of approximately a week, with more and more creative décor greeting visitors to Magic Kingdom each morning.
The theme park will hold its inaugural “Disney After Hours Boo Bash” soon, and visitors will have much more to look forward to when Walt Disney World celebrates its 50th anniversary with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” which will begin on October 1st and last for 18 months.

Guests at Walt Disney World Resort will be able to experience a brand-new event this fall called “Disney After Hours Boo Bash.”
This paid event takes place on certain evenings between August 10 and October 31. Guests will be treated to a three-hour nocturnal Halloween celebration including special character cavalcades, trick-or-treating, reduced wait times for several of the park’s attractions, and delightfully themed food and drinks.
Even if you can’t make it to the after-hours event, visitors visiting the parks during the day will be able to sample nearly all of the Halloween-themed goodies.
Adults may cool down with Sea Witch’s Brew (available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge), themed cupcakes, Maleficent Churros (available at Magic Kingdom Park), Frozen Apple Cider (available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios), and more.

Save some room though because EPCOT is currently hosting its annual International Food & Wine Festival now through November 20th. And while there are already more than half of the booths open for the festival, nine additional booths will open on October 1st. Also, opening on the first at EPCOT will be the brand-new attraction – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
For more than a year, Walt Disney World has been planning “The Most Magical Celebration” to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Slowly but steadily, more information regarding what visitors may expect during the event has been available. Cinderella’s Castle has been restored and will be the focal point of the park’s new nightly show, “Disney Enchantment.” EPCOT’s new evening entertainment, “Harmonious,” will also premiere. Visitors to Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be able to watch the brand-new midday spectacle “Disney KiteTails.” Guests may also snap pictures with 50 gold-cast Disney character sculptures located around Magic Kingdom Park.
