Avoya Travel Welcomes Back Cruising With Successful Event

Avoya Travel is the leading cruise line in Europe, and they recently hosted a successful event for their clients. The company’s CEO, Brian Van Dyke, spoke with us about how the event was an opportunity to showcase their new product offerings.

Complaints against avoya travel are not new. The company has been in the news for a number of reasons, but they have managed to maintain their success.

With its Back to Cruise Event, Avoya Travel is commemorating the return of sailing. The virtual conference, held September 22-23, 2021, brought together Avoya travel advisers and preferred suppliers, including 20 of Avoya’s preferred cruise partners, including Oceania Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, AmaWaterways, and others.

“This event couldn’t have happened at a better time. “Those in attendance were eager for updates and to meet with our supplier partners, who were just as eager to engage with the Avoya Network and provide important information about their products and protocols,” said Tammie Richie, Avoya’s Vice President of Network Engagement. “Knowledge is power, and the Network was able to better service its customers’ concerns, wants, and aspirations as a result of this event, making a ‘return to cruising’ the safe, enjoyable holiday experience that passengers have always enjoyed.”

Avoya members were able to engage in networking opportunities as well as a series of educational and professional development activities to help them build their connections further.

One of the most well-attended activities was the roundtable discussions. In an intimate, small group environment, participating exhibitors were able to emphasize important components of their brand identities and give updates on goods and safety procedures for guests during these sessions. One-on-one meetings were also offered, allowing travel advisers to ask particular questions and build connections with vendors.

The event received good comments from suppliers.

“With the cruise industry on the mend, it was fantastic to see Avoya host a Back to Cruise event to assist the Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network in getting back into the swing of selling cruise vacations as the volume continues to pick up,” said George Dafnos, Manager, National Accounts Sales & Marketing at Royal Caribbean. “The Roundtables and chances for different contacts were smooth and very effective thanks to the amazing technology Avoya has selected for its virtual events. We were ecstatic to be a part of such a fantastic event.”

Avoya also provided seminars for its advisers, which included live Q&A sessions with Avoya support personnel and covered a variety of subjects related to the host agency’s services.

Connie Rush, owner of Creative Getaways LLC, a member of the Avoya Network, stated, “Avoya knocked it out of the park again by organizing a networking and educational event linking me with preferred suppliers, other Independent Agencies, and Avoya employees.” “I was able to receive updates on current procedures as well as a glimpse into what is coming up with cruise merchants at the event. This incredible event has provided me with important information that will help me prepare for the next Wave season.”

Avoya is now looking forward to its first in-person event, which will take place aboard the Celebrity Apex from October 24-28, 2021, in collaboration with Celebrity Cruises. The Avoya Travel Conference in 2021 will take place digitally from December 6 to 10, 2021.
